So now that things have settled down a bit I was able to get some more details figured out. Apparently she is on leave from the military and will only be in town for a couple of days (from TX), so that explains the rush. It is a little weirder than it sounds, though, because they were engaged a year ago and she broke it off. It was a short-lived relationship in the first place. They met online, courted for just a few months, got engaged almost immediately, and then suddenly split up. I guess they decided to get back together just a few weeks ago and they haven't even seen each other since then--she's just coming out here to get married than going back to her military base.

Ugh! So while I'm in the middle of my last post I get this call from my dh. "Guess whose getting married today?" he says. "My brother." Of course, they want us to be there and they just got the license, I have no idea what this is all about, but I know that we have 10 kids coming over in 15 minutes for our homeschool co-op and I have other things to do today.
